Robert Henderson Jr.
Rev. Robert R. Henderson Jr. a native of Pittsburgh Pa., born in 1956,is the eldest son of Deacon Robert R. Henderson Sr., and Mother Juanita Henderson. He accepted his call to the ministry in 1974, under the leadership of the late Rev. Curtis Goodnight, First Church of God in Christ in Braddock Pa, and ordained by the late Bishop Gordon E. Vaughn in 1978. Rev. Henderson Jr. worked diligently in many State auxiliaries devoting a great portion of his efforts to the State Evangelistic Team. In 1983, Rev. Henderson moved to the Washington D.C. area where he continued his ministry under the leadership of the late Bishop Frank J. Ellis, Chairman of the General Assembly of the Church of God in Christ International, and Pastor of Carter Memorial Church of God in Christ in Baltimore Maryland. Rev. Henderson returned to the Pittsburgh area in 1994 where he became a member and Assistant Pastor of the Holy Temple C.O.G.I.C in North Braddock Pa. under the leadership of Rev. James M. Gray Sr., and Rev. George F. Stewart. While at Holy Temple, Rev. Henderson operated as Executive Producer of the Tape and Broadcast Radio Ministry which aired on local station WPGR (1510 AM).
Rev. Henderson accepted the position of Pastor of Enon Baptist Church of Pittsburgh, and was installed in 2004. In 2021, Rev Henderson established R.R.H. (Redemption, Restoration, and Hope) Ministries.
Rev. Henderson does not preach denomination, but Christ and Him crucified. His ministry educates and empowers people to live successful, productive, and godly lives utilizing their God given abilities according to II Peter 1:3.
Rev. Henderson is married to his lovely wife of 47 years Annette M. Henderson. They are the proud parents of Christopher, Tempestt (Sutton), and Aisha Henderson, and adopted daughter Shadia Gray-Garvin.
